Cookie Policy

This page explains the cookies and similar storage used by mlforbeginners.com, and how to control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. It lets a site remember something between page loads — a preference you set, or whether you have already dismissed a notice.

What this site uses

  • Strictly necessary — set by WordPress and by the site’s caching layer so pages load and work correctly. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
  • Consent record — remembers the choice you made in the cookie banner, so you are not asked again on every page.
  • Analytics — if enabled, used only in aggregate to count page views and see which guides are read. These are optional and are not set unless you allow them.
  • Local storage — some calculators keep your last inputs in your own browser so a page reload does not lose your work. That data never leaves your device and is not sent to us.

What this site does not use

No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking pixels, and no data brokerage. Nothing here is used to build a profile of you or to target advertising, on this site or anywhere else.

Controlling cookies

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie banner. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings — every major browser allows this, usually under Privacy. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working.

Changes

If the cookies used here change, this page is updated before the change takes effect.
