Accessibility Statement

mlforbeginners.com is meant to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, or magnification. This page states where we are and how to tell us when we fall short.

What we aim for

We target the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines. That is a target, not a certification — we have not been independently audited.

What is in place

  • Semantic headings, so a screen reader can navigate a guide by structure.
  • Text alternatives on diagrams that describe what the figure shows, not just that a figure exists.
  • Colour contrast checked against the AA threshold for body text and interface elements.
  • Keyboard access to navigation, calculators and interactive controls.
  • Layouts that reflow to narrow screens and tolerate browser zoom without losing content.

Known limitations

  • Mathematical notation is rendered with MathJax. Screen reader support for maths varies by browser and assistive technology, and some expressions may be read out awkwardly.
  • Some older guides predate our current alt-text standard and are being revised.
  • A few complex diagrams convey structure that is difficult to capture fully in a short text alternative.

Telling us about a problem
